Prom Questions #1. Should I make an appointment in the prom shop?
That’s a great question! Our fittings rooms may be reserved by appointment. So, while appointments are not required, shoppers with an appointment slot will have a guaranteed fitting room. Walks ins will be accommodated as space and time permits. Please call ahead to book your fitting room and appointment slot for the BEST prom shopping experience!
Prom Questions #2. Are all the prom dresses at Christine’s Bridal & Prom in stock, and ready to take home on the day of purchase? How much do your prom dresses cost?
Yes! Christine’s Bridal & Prom stocks over 500 prom dresses, and our stock in constantly being refreshed during the busy prom season. Make sure to shop early for our “same school guarantee” – don’t shop up to prom wearing the same prom gown as your classmate! Because of the short season, it is impossible to order a prom gown in a different size or color, and guarantee a timely delivery. Our prom dress collection starts at $200.00, and goes up to $600.00m with our average price point being $395.00.
Prom Questions #3. What if my I change my mind? Are My Items Returnable?
All sales are final. Items may not be returned or exchanged. Because of our “same school guarantee” – we won’t sell your prom dress to anyone else attending your school’s prom, it would be unfair to exchange your dress, as others may have wanted to purchase it from your school and were refused. Please be sure it’s the one before you buy!
Prom Questions #4. Is the prom shop open year round?
Glitter Prom®, a division of Christine’s Bridal, is open seasonally from January thru mid May. If you are looking for a pageant dress, please call for a special appointment if during the off season hours.
Prom Questions #5. Are alterations included in the cost of my garment?
Christine’s Bridal & Prom does not include the cost of alterations in any of their formal wear. This is the fairest way to our customers, as shops that offer a “one price for alterations” services are generally working on averages. In many instances, you will end up paying far more for a “flat” alteration fee, than if you were to pay only for the alterations you needed. We are happy to refer you to qualified independent seamstresses that are eager to work with you, should you need those services. Any questions pertaining to alterations should be directed to the person you choose to work with. Christine’s Bridal & Prom does not employ seamstresses on staff, and provides names of seamstresses as a courtesy only to our customers.
Prom Questions #6. What is a Fashion Rep? How can I become one?
Each year, Christine’s Bridal & Glitter Prom select ONE student from each area high school to be a fashion rep for our prom shop. Student representatives receive special prices on their prom dresses, and credits towards the purchase of any of our merchandise in exchange for the promotion of the Christine’s Bridal & Glitter Prom brand. If you are interested in becoming a rep, please contact us, and we will be happy to forward you our information. Our fashion rep program is currently open to only high school students in Vermont and New Hampshire.
